Quanta - Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 April 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

By using the Quanta website or service, you agree to these terms. If you use Quanta for a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use Quanta.

2. What Quanta is, and what it is not

Quanta gives you risk indicators about businesses, drawn from available data, to help you make your own decisions. Quanta's verdicts are indicators, not guarantees. They are not financial advice, legal advice, or credit advice, and they are not a promise about how any business will behave. You are responsible for your own decisions about who you work with, sign with, or extend credit to.

3. Using Quanta properly

You agree to use Quanta only for legitimate business purposes, to give accurate information when you contribute data, and not to misuse, scrape, resell, or attempt to interfere with the service. You will not use Quanta to harass anyone or to make decisions in a way that breaks the law, including anti-discrimination and privacy law.

4. Accuracy and no warranty

We work to keep information accurate and current, but we draw on third-party sources and member contributions and cannot guarantee everything is complete or error-free. Quanta is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or that any verdict is correct.

5. Correcting information about your business

If you believe a Quanta verdict about your business relies on inaccurate information, you can ask us to review and correct it. The process is set out in section 10 of our Privacy Policy.

6. Member-contributed data

If you contribute information about your payment experience, you confirm it is true and based on your own dealings, and you give Quanta permission to use it, in de-identified or aggregated form where appropriate, to produce verdicts for other members. Do not contribute anything false, malicious, or that you do not have the right to share.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quanta is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service, including any business decision you make based on a verdict. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply.

8. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed as set out on our pricing page. Prices are in AUD and include GST. You can cancel any time; cancellation stops future billing and does not refund the current period unless the law requires it.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or misuse the service.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the jurisdiction of its courts.
